National SRC Naming Standards

The rules governing the naming conventions for National SRCs is defined at Confluence.

When needing to refer to a national SRC (or service, etc provided by SKAO) the following polciy must be adopted.

There are several areas where we need to refer to individual SRC projects or sites. We have agreed the following list of names, mostly based on ISO Alpha-2 country abbreviations, but with exceptions for Australia (AUS), Canada (CAN), Spain (ESP) and the UK (UK). Where services or facilities are provided by SKAO we will use the “SKAO” label.
